15-year-old Masato Akitsu lived a fairly normal life until the day he found out he was adopted by his parents and discovered that he was created solely to become the pilot of Zeorymer.

He is normally rather calm and somewhat cowardly at times, but this changes when he pilots Zeorymer, turning him into his cruel alter ego, Masaki Kihara. This drives Masato to extreme lengths of frustration.
