Although he only appears for a few minutes in one episode of the series, he seems to show a very exaggerated form of fatherly doting toward his daughter Selnia.

Upon seeing her, he greets her with many kisses as an exaggerated form of the European custom to place a kiss on either cheek; this even scares Akiharu when he holds him in a bone-cracking man hug.

He appears to support Selnia engaging in strange activities and even mistakens Akiharu as Selnia's lover. He makes a ridiculous assumption that it is a "romance that transcends social classes" upon hearing misguided information form the Flameheart head maid.

He is apparently very tall as when standing beside Akiharu, he's almost two heads taller than he is.
