Suzuki Sora is a girl from the countryside of Hokkaido. She loves Biei, the place she grew up in.

She has a dog and lives with her mother, who is working hard in the fields. Her father passed away. The biggest difference between Sora and her mother is that Sora is aiming to become a mage. She is a cheerful girl that can't stand watching people suffering, and is pretty helpful at heart.

Sora gets accepted into a mage school in Tokyo, which leads her to meet a strange boy, Midorikawa Gouta, who has problems using his magic. Sora, who is an advanced mage, falls in love with the boy, and she helps him out later.
