Portrait of character named Luini

Information

Luini is the man who is famously known as the "God of Death." He visited in different towns and bought young boys including Romeo to sell as chimney sweeps in Milan. Mr. Luini's cruelty went as far as destroying the livelihood of Romeo's family in order to bind the then 11-year old boy under a contract. Ten years after Romeo finished his working contract in Milan, the selling of children as chimney sweeps was no longer practiced.

In the Italian-dubbed "Spicchi di Cielo tra Baffi di Fumo," Luini's complete name was used. He is also called Il Diavolo (the Devil).
