Anita is Romeo's childhood friend who had a deep crush on him. She lives in Sonogno Village. Anita wanted to marry Romeo in the future. When she learned that Romeo could possibly die while working as a chimney sweep in Milan, she tried to convince him not to leave Sonogno. Unfortunately, Romeo had already decided that he would go to Milan for the sake of his father, Roberto. Because of this, Anita became angry and very sad.
