He's Risa's childhood friend who moved overseas while they were still in elementary school. He considers Risa a hero to him as she was the one who stood up for him when the other boys made fun of him because of his name. He wants to become Risa's boyfriend, though he finds out who Risa really likes, much to his dismay.
