Portrait of character named Lakshi

Information

Lakshi seems to be a caring girl, she is sad for others misfortune and wants to help people. Sometimes feeling helpless causes her to lose control of her emotions. Being from a poverty background she is more than willing to help out others in need, even giving her much needed water to another person. Despite this initial appearance Lakshi is combat ready and a good warrior when required, but mostly in defense of people in need.

Lakshi may come from Lakshita from the Indian word which means, "Distinguished." Sanskrit word which means, "Put on earth with a purpose." Sanskrit word which means, "Someone with a very high aim in life.." (Birth Village)

Alternatively, it may be from Lakshmi the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity (both material and spiritual), light, wisdom, fortune, fertility, generosity and courage; and the embodiment of beauty, grace and charm. Representations of Lakshmi are also found in Jain monuments. Also called Mahalakshmi, she is said to bring good luck, and is believed to protect her devotees from all kinds of misery and money-related sorrows. Lakshmi in Sanskrit is derived from its elemental form lakS, meaning "to perceive or observe". (Wikipedia)
