Masahiro is a tall man with wavy dark-colored hair and he sports a goatee.

He bears a striking resemblance to his grandson Hayato Kasukabe who would eventually look like him by the time he has his own daughter. After trying to save Tatsuta when the Familia caught fire, he would lose his right arm, making him unable to work.

Masahiro is a person who can seem rude at times, being honest with people even if he doesn't have anything nice to say. Masahiro is usually rude to his employees who respect him for being a great leader and taking care of them in his own way. He tries not to get involved in other people's business, although he always ends up getting involved by trying to help his loved ones. He has a protective side as he usually helps his loved ones when they are in trouble, even getting physical contact if necessary.

Although at first it may not seem like it, Masahiro is a very kind person trying to help people who need his help, although later he tries to pretend that he hasn't done anything, he has also shown to be a person incapable of showing his true thoughts as he feels too ashamed to admit that he likes someone or that something in particular is to his liking.
