Rosa Oriana is a noble Princess from the Oriana kingdom, a country of arts. She is known for being a genius in arts in her kingdom. However, she came to Midgar Royal Spellsword Academy in order to learn swordsmanship. In the Oriana Kingdom, the sword is scorned as something uncivilized. Not a single person would acknowledge the sword as a form of art.
