Lugh's personal servant and one of his assassination assistants. She cares deeply for Lugh because he saved her life. Tarte's family often call Tarte useless and worthless giving her a complex about this labeling, when things got tough her family abandoned her because they could not feed everyone in the family.

Nearly starved to death and alone she wonders into the forest where she has a dream in which God tells her to travel to Tuatha Dé territory were she will have a fateful encounter. Lugh then saved her from being eaten by a pack of wolves moments before they got to her.

After saving her life and Lugh telling her he needs her, she spends the next two years training her to be an assassin worthy of Lugh.

After saving her life Tarte slowly starts to fall in love with Lugh and with Dia and Lugh's mothers encouragement becomes one of his mistresses. Which at first Lugh was not on board with the idea because he felt like he was taking advantage of her.

She has an aptitude with spears. When Lugh sends her into battle to get real combat experience her proficiency with spears and magic quickly earn her the title The Lightning Quick Battle Maiden. Something that embarrasses her when Lugh teases her about it.
