Maki Kuwana is a member of the cram school Yatora Yaguchi attends. She specializes in oil painting.

Although seemingly positive, energetic and a bit eccentric, Maki suffers from an inferiority complex towards her older sister. This causes her to be highly emotional, lack self confidence in her abilities, and fail to see how her artistic innovations inspire people around her, including her sister.

Maki is also very friendly and caring. She shares her food with people around her, and shows that she worries a lot about the health of those around her.
