A Paladin of the Chasseurs, Olivier has been subject to the bias that all Vampires are inherently evil, and thus has dedicated his life toward their eradicated in the name of his faith. When Moreau's secret laboratory is destroyed deep within the catacombs, Olivier goes to investigate the scene, finding his fellow Paladin, Roland Fortis, as well as Maria and Georges.

Roland and Olivier appear to be close friends. Olivier frequently berates Roland for his unrepentant attitude regarding his beliefs and worries that they will end up endangering him.
