Yasuke is the main protagonist in Yasuke. Previously known as Eusebio Ibrahimo Baloi, is a man from African origin that became a samurai serving Nobunaga Oda. Yasuke arrived in 1579 in Japan, in service as bodyguard of Italian Jesuit missionary Alessandro Valignano during the Nanban trade.
