One of the 5 people discovered during the gathering of Gifted People. A plump man who had a fondness for food and culinary matters. Spent all of his money trying food around the world, which gave him experience and knowledge of unique foods which he used to support Souma. He has been bestowed the title of Ishizuka, which means The One who Persistently Search for Food. Because of his role in solving the food shortage problem, he was appointed as the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
