Minami, or “Mimimi” to her friends and classmates, is a very energetic and cheerful girl. She is always lightening the mood with her theatrics and silly banter, and is known as the class clown of Tomozaki’s class. Her best friend is Tama and they can often be found engaged in playful exchanges. Mimimi is also a serious student and was ranked second in her first-year class. She is a member of the track club along with Hinami.

She affectionately calls Tomozaki by the nickname, "Brain".
