Rin is possessed by the horse of the Chinese Zodiac. She is aged 17–19, is tall and initially has hip-length dark hair. She is a willful, stubborn, independent, proud woman who despises the way the other members of her clan submit to Akito. Although she isolates herself, she can occasionally be seen in the company of Hiro, who along with Hatsuharu, Kagura, and Kagura's mother, were the only visitors Rin had during her stays in the hospital. Rin loves Hatsuharu, but she breaks up with him to protect him until she can find a way to free him from the curse.
