Hiromi is shown to not be very confident in herself in initial conversations. Due to her eye shape, Hiromi worries that she looks aggressive, and her neutral face has been mistaken for an angry expression in several Cinderella Girls Theater comics. These worries are so extreme that she is even shown practicing how to smile in THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls - Comic Anthology Cute. At higher levels, she is able to work through these insecurities, and smile naturally.

Many of Hiromi's cards feature skillfully-made accessories, implied or stated outright to be handmade. In several theater comics, she is often shown taking inspiration from her surroundings to make accessories.

Despite being young, Hiromi is fairly responsible, and takes her work as an idol seriously. If left without supervision, she has been shown to take the lead, pushing her fellow idols to work harder or protecting the younger idols. This earnest attitude can sometimes backfire, as her desire to improve and become a cuter idol had led to her to imitate certain idols who should not be imitated.
